May Auction Finds

I love going to the Chumbley’s Auction’s on a Friday night each month.  We have bought some amazing deals there and this past Friday wasn’t any different!!  Wait till you hear what some of the stuff I bought is worth, it blows my mind!!

2 pictures of deer…$1 each hubby had to have them, although we are still not sure where to put them.

Bucket on the left for $1–My best friend from Kindergarten will get this bucket filled with sunflowers to hang on her front porch with her last name on it.  It’s in the DIY pile, so I can show you all what it looks like when its done.

Lion King VHS Tape $1 for my darling daughter because that is her all time favorite movie and her VHS tape was all but worn out. Now she will have two copies.

The wire basket I am using in the office to catch papers that need to be recycled. $1

Potato sack (I’m using it as a curtain, but have yet to get it up, I will show you when its finished.) Old dish cloth that made me think of my Nana!! $1 for both.

3 throw rugs for the car to use top of the floor mats we will see how that works.  $1 for all of them.

John Wayne Picture-$10 for my Father in law’s Father’s Day present! Score for us!!

Blue/Red enamel wear pan-$1 currently holding apples on the kitchen counter.

Cute basket up front free thrown in with something I don’t remember what..It’s still empty and I don’t know where to put it.

Water ladle–$1 going to be hanging up on the wall when I can get my hubby to put a screw in the wall for me. (Yes, I know how, but its so much easier if he does it.)

Enamel white pan–Holding a lot of the odds and ends that get put down on the table in the kitchen. I’m calling it the Clutter Catcher!! $1

Large white bowl from England—Its basically a wash stand bowl I spent $1 on this bowl.  When I got home and looked it up using the label on the bottom it is worth $155!!!! I’m thinking if I can get that out of it, I’m going to sell it!!  And that my friends are the bargains I found at the auction.

Mr. SMSL spent some money on things at the auction as well but its tools and what nots and I’m even going to try to descipher that mess.  I will see if I can talk him into sharing but I’m not sure that will happen.  Do you like going to auctions?
