Exercise Week #6 and Results!
39,739 steps out of 50,000 goal it isn’t that good but that’s ok. I’m ok with walking 15 miles a week! Next week I will just have to hit it a little harder. I’m not sitting on the couch near as often as I used to though. And when I do watch tv I’m always trying to be blogging, walking or using arm weights. It is amazing at how much exercise you can get in when you try.
I did the exercise DVD on two different days and it was a great workout! I swam 4 days and played the Wii Fit only two days this week. But I did do squats and lunges 90 total–45 of each one day on top of other exercise. Another day the goal was 100 squats–I got them all in but thought I was going to die by the end of the day.
But the hard work paid off I lost 2 pounds this week after a 0.2 loss in week 5 I was a happy girl!! I have lost a total of 19 pounds 1 pound shy of my first “realistic” goal of losing 20 pounds. I’m trying to hit that this week!!
Here is the latest stash of clothes that Shakelee has helped me “get to skinny to wear!!” My closet is starting to dwindle and I’m loving wearing clothes that fit instead of hiding behind bigger shirts that made me look bigger than I already was.

Thanks Sommer!! It does pay off, and I can’t believe how easy it is some days!!
I totally know how you feel about no clothes in the closet. I’ve lost 88.7 lbs in 5 moths on Cinch I still have a ways to go to my target goal. But I’ve gone from a 22-12 pant size. I have 5 garbage bags full of clothes that are too big. I have 2 shirts and 1 skirt in my closet. I’m just trying to get by on buying as little clothing as possible til I hit my goal weight.
Your exercise sounds great. I’m going to attempt swimming for the first time tomorrow. I haven’t actually swam in over 6 years. I bought a pair of goggles today.
I had a bad weigh in week last week too. I really pushed myself this week to do more. So I’m hoping I have a good weigh in tomorrow.
That is awesome Amberle!! I understand not buying clothes, but it is such a great feeling!! I have more to loose but comments like this help keep me moving.
Wow, congratulations to you, fun to see your progress, some kind of yummy, Cinch snacks coming next month!
I can’t wait for those!! Thanks Karen!!
