Chicken Soup for the Soul Reviews

Chicken Soup for the Soul Say Goodbye to Stress was a book I was given the opportunity to read and review. As you avid followers know I love just about every Chicken Soup for the Soul book. This one although it should of hit close to home I struggled with more than I would have thought. Everyone has e stress in there life they would like to get rid of, but this book was a little lacking for me. While it could still be a good, helpful book I thought better stories may have been able to be picked just because I didn’t relate to them like I have in other books. Also a draw back for me but maybe not so much for others was all the medically written advice. This may have been “dumbed down” for lack of a better term to be more enjoyable.
Say Goodbye to Stress was not a bad book I just did not enjoy it near as much as others I have read previously. My opinion is soley that formed by my own likes and dislikes. So where this book was not really to my liking it maybe to yours. It did have some very good stories well worth reading. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.
Chicken Soup for the Soul Say Goodbye to Back Pain was a great book with lots of helpful hints on ways to help get rid of your back pain. As a person with a not so good back this book came in very handy for me. It gave me lots of great exercises I could do to help elevate the pain. There were neck exercises that helped my neck tremendously because of previous injuries. The stories were all inspirational because of the connection I had with some of them, but even the ones that I wasn’t “connected to”, I thoroughly enjoyed reading.
This book was a great read and one that has many beneficial exercises that are easy to follow. As well as explanations and diagrams that help you get moving in the right direction. It even gives you what to expect advice when you are facing physical therapy, surgeries and other procedures. I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars and will use it as a reference for years to come.
Chicken Soup for the Soul Messages from Heaven was my favorite book that I have read in awhile. There were 101 Miraculous stories that touched your heart when you were reading them, some more than others. It was a very uplifting book that I couldn’t put down. The stories all hit home in one way or another and I simply couldn’t put it down. The stories were so amazing and your faith is renewed with most of the stories. No matter what your story is there is at least one that you will connect to in this book.
Some of the stories reminded me of my Papa while others my Nana. But each story that reminded me of someone left a mark on me. It just made me realize even more that they aren’t really gone until you forget the great memories that you made with them. This book was by far my favorite of all of the Chicken Soup for the Souls books!!
Chicken Soup for the Soul Say Hello to a Better Body–Weight Loss and Fitness for Women Over 50 is also a great book for women over 50. Since I haven’t reached that number yet in life, I passed the book onto my mother for her to read. She said that she learned several valuable tips that she has implemented into her daily life. It was helpful for her to break her weight loss plateau she had recently hit and was a motivational tool. The goal of the book is to help you stay fit, happy, and at a weight that is right for you!! Great tips for most of us no matter what age we are.
The products in this post was given to me in exchange for my review/opinion by Chicken Soup for the Soul. Even though these products were provided to me at no cost, I only personally recommend products that I think will be good for myself and readers. Thanks to Chicken Soup for the Soul for allowing me to review these great books.
