Farmer’s Apothecary Review and Giveaway

Whenever I can I support the local businesses in my area.  Many of you know that I live in Missouri so my “area” is anywhere  that is under 1 hour from my house.  Since I grew up in Trenton, MO I travel there a lot and support hometown locals whenever I can.  Jennifer delivered all of these goodies to my sister’s home for me so we could save on shipping.

She sent Orange Cream Lip Balm that is absolutely amazing!! It is silky smooth, no grainy feeling and comes in 12 flavors.  It is made from bees wax and only a handful of other ingredients so it is better for your skin than store bought brands.  Each tube is only $3 each which is amazing for the product you are getting.  I’ve been using the lip balm several times a day for over a month and I still have lots left.   They would make perfect Christmas Stocking stuffers or a teenage girl’s present.

Jennifer from the Farmer’s Apothecary also sent 3 sample each soap for me to try out. One of them was Belle Morte that smelled like roses with hints of earthy smells as well as musk. This smell reminded me of my Nana so I loved this smell. It was the bar that I always picked up no matter what I did.  The other two were good but not as good as this one!!

My skin felt smoother, smelled better longer and loved the fact that they were hand made soaps.  The soaps have less than 10 ingredients so they are more earth friendly as well which is something I have learned to look for in products I purchase. Farmer’s Apothecary is giving away 2 full bars of handmade soaps to two lucky winners!!

Giveaway items are full bars of soap!! One is Lavender and the other is Brandied Pair. My favorite is the Brandied Pair and I’m thinking the next time I go to Trenton I will have to pick up some of that bar.  Use the Giveaway tool below to enter to win. Heidi
