Liz’s Winnings

About a month ago my daughter Liz high-jacked my page and spread the news about a contest.  It was sponsored by Redneck Hunting Blinds and the prize was a signed Jason Aldean T-shirt.  Lots of people entered to win and when she entered I told her not to be disappointed if she didn’t win. For her 14th birthday she got to see Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan at the Sprint Center so she was super excited to try to win this t-shirt.  She even got to touch Jason Aldean as he was performing and oh my goodness, that just made her year!!! So of course her and Jason are best buddies (we won’t tell her it happens all of the time).  Nor that will it probably ever happen again but as a 14 year old how cool would a signed t-shirt by him that is hunting related be for her. …..And now the rest of the story is history!

She entered on Redneck Hunting Blinds Facebook page to win a t-shirt autographed Jason Aldean.  She is an outdoor girl through and through! Her dad and her both love hunting and anything to do with being outdoors.  Hunting for them is not only a pass time but a passion.  I on the other hand would rather stay inside where it is warm.  So she entered herself, her dad, myself, her aunts and uncles literally everyone should could get to enter for her she having enter.

I couldn’t believe it when I got a message from a former student asking me if I was really the Heidi Gray that won the signed Jason Aldean Shirt.  After a little investigating I found out that I was in deed the winner and boy did I get her on that one.  After lots of hooting, hollering, and phone calls to everyone she knew we finally could claim the prize.

I emailed Redneck Hunting Blinds, another Missouri company to claim my  Liz’s prize. As you can tell from the picture below she was more than happy to get the signed Redneck Hunting Blinds t-shirt and with a signature of Jason Aldean to boot!! She has yet to wear it and is begging me for a frame to put it in so of course we will get one. Moral of the story, “You never know when you will something, so keep trying.”
