Designerliners are the perfect solution to the messy trash everyone seems to have. I was so excited when I received mine I opened them immediately. The packaging is very minimal which is as appealing to me as well as them being biodegradable. They are made in the USA which is hard to come by these days. The size of Designer liners is 7 gallon which is more than big enough for our office trash can, or the bathroom trash can. When I put the Designerliners into the trash cans I was able to cover the entire trash can with the cool black leopard print. As we filled it with trash it uncovered the trash can slowly but I loved how it looked both empty and full of trash. It just makes the mess a little dressier and brightens up any room they are used in. Designerliners are available to purchase at www.designerliners.com and come in a variety of prints to match your home décor. The leopard print even looked awesome in my bathroom that is red plaid with stars, but I didn’t notice them clashing. I even had guests tell me that they love the trash bag in the bathroom and quickly gave them the website to order. Muriel is the most creative person and a great person to work with. Because of her hardships Designerliners were brought to life!! I’ve now decided that since I’ve had a “pretty” trash can there’s no going back to the grocery sack trash can liners again. www.designerliners.com Designer linersDesigner Liners BRYTON PICK BRYTON Pick came quickly once in the mail in a plain envelope marked with BRYTON Pick. It included a brochure, letter and 2 BRYTON Picks for me to try. My husband is my very own guinea pig so I asked him to try it first. He described the BRYTON Pick as flexible and easy to use as he did his flossing. He also said that there was a metallic taste to the pick but that it moved smoothly between his teeth. However he would not buy a BRYTON Pick because of the taste. So I tried the BRYTON Pick next, I also thought it was flexible, I loved the fact that it was reusable and had a carrying pouch that would fit into my purse. That would be a great selling point in my opinion because it doesn’t take much room up and you can pull it out easily to use it. I had a couple teeth that the BRYTON Pick wouldn’t slide through and the metallic taste lingered longer than I thought it should. I did not care for the way the metal felt between my teeth but after I used it again the feeling was easily ignored. Bryton Pick is available at: Meijer Stores, A&P, Pathmark, Winn Dixie, C&S, Kinney Drugs, Save Mart, CVS.com,Walgreens.com, Drugstore.com, Pearson Dental Supply & Others. Remember lots of stores will carry them if you ask them to. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. I opened them and looked at them first. They all seemed to be of high quality and something that I would use at a party. So I printed them off onto cardstock and laminated them so we could use them over and over. It did take a little while to do this but for me it was worth the time, someone else might just print them off and use them as is. I believe that either way would be acceptable for the game. The only thing that I didn’t like was that there was not any directions included with the printables I received. I had to go to http://www.queen-of-theme-party-games.com/minute-to-win-it-party.html#axzz1WMhsyzcX to find out how to play. Once I got there though, my disappointments turned into excitement because of the variety of games you can play with the printable game Minute to Win It. My daughter invited her friends over and we had a Minute to Win it Party with prizes I had picked up for cheap while couponing or shopping. The girls all loved the game and can’t wait until we have another game party!! Minute to Win It was a definite hit for the 13 year old girls I had at my house. Prefense Hand Sanitizer Review Prefense Silica Based Hand Sanitizer is an amazing product that my family and I have fell in love with. We use a lot of hand sanitizers especially in the winter months, but we use it year around as well. When I received the opportunity to review Prefense Silica Based Hand Sanitizer I was so excited and couldn’t wait to get my product. The day I received my Prefense Silica Based Hand Sanitizer I quickly opened the package to see just how great the product really was. Included was an informational brochure and a 1.5 FL oz. bottle of Prefense Silica Based Hand Sanitizer. I first read the brochure and the bottle to become more familiar with the product. Then squeezed the pump a couple times to get the air out of the hose and a quarter size foam of Prefense Silica Based Hand Sanitizer came out. Because Prefense is made with natural ingredients and no alcohol my hands started to become softer with just a couple of uses. The silica base of Prefense Silica Based Hand Sanitizer keeps your hands smoother and softer with just a few uses which sets it aside from other sanitizers in my opinion. I also appreciated the fact that Prefense Silica Based Hand Sanitizer is non-toxic and safe for kids. As an educator, aunt, and mother this is a plus in my book because you never know what kids are going to do with something they find. Even after washing my hands the traditional way my hands still remained soft and I felt like the product was still working long after it was applied. Prefense technology protects you for 24 hours or 10 hand washings which is another fact that I love!! Prefense Silica Based Hand Sanitizer has a soft fresh citrus smell that is not overpowering and lasts a few hours. According to Prefense’s brochure the Prefense Silica Based Hand Sanitizer has been tested against strains of MRSA which is highly contagious. I would have loved to have been protected last year when my mom had MSRA from what was once a small infection. Prefense can be found on Facebook at: Facebook and on Twitter at Twitter. Giveaway: Big 8oz Prefense which offers 640 applications with one spray lasting all day! The giveaway is open to U.S Residents only. The giveaway bottle of Prefense will be shipped directly to the winner. We will be using Rafflecopter for the giveaway 1. For my review I was sent Love is in the Bath Stimulate your soul bath fizzer, Cherry Blossom Trails Natural Body Butter, Natural Body Soap-Blast from the Past, and two Shea butter lip balms, Coco-coconut, and Mom’s Cherry Pie. They were sent via the United States postal service in a brown envelope that was recyclable and the products packaging was also recyclable. Being green is more important to me as I have gotten older, so I appreciate it when companies like One Bath and Body do their part to help the environment. The packaging was very minimal and I even saved the Bath Fizzer container to use in my desk drawer as an organizing tool. It even makes my drawer smell good and it hasn’t had products in it for 2 weeks.
The first product I tried was the Bath Fizzer and it smelled wonderful. The scent was just perfect to smell up the entire bathroom and was a relaxing bath. It was much like a spa experience without the spa price tag included which is definitely a plus in my book. My feet were a lot softer after this bath as well so it doubled as a pedicure treatment for me as well. The smell reminded me of baby powder and roses but wasn’t overwhelming and it was definitely relaxing. During the night I kept waking up just to smell the scent left on my skin. It was amazing that it still smelled so good hours after the bath had ended. The next day when it was time to shower I broke out the Blast from the Past Natural Body Soap. When I first opened the box I was impressed with the scent it produced as well as the size of the bar. The bar soap reminded me of the way my Nana smelled. It put me back in time when I was a little girl and got hugs from her daily. It has a soft fruity smell and a hint of an almond smell as well. I really enjoyed this soap daily and still have lots of bar left. I even used the lather to shave my legs with so it was a multi-purpose soap for me. The Cherry Blossom Trail Natural Shea Butter smells heavenly and is very hydrating. It makes your skin feel soft and smooth with the smell of cherry blossoms to accompany it. I used this lotion for a week and noticed my skin was softer and smoother than it has been in year. I quit using it for a couple days and missed the hydrating experience this natural body butter provides. Needless to say I am using it every day and will have to place an order soon. I love lip balm and use it every day without fail I tried the coconut one first and my lips were noticeably smoother and the smell of the Coco-coconut was amazing. I however lost this one to my 13 year old daughter who thought it was very cool and smelled delicious. She has even shared it with her friends and they all seem to like it. So in their Christmas goody bags this year we are including One Bath and Body Natural Lip Balm for them all to enjoy. I got to keep the Mom’s Cherry Pie and enjoyed it almost as much as I do my Mom’s Cherry Pie that she makes. The smell of it reminds me of eating homemade cherry pie during the holidays. My lips are smoother and softer now and I am hooked!!
Thank you to One Bath and Body for allowing me this wonderful opportunity. All opinions are my own and I received no monetary compensation for my opinions. I am truly a One Bath and Body Customer for life.
Ray’s of Colorado Review I would first like to say these are amazing products at a very reasonable cost. I love the fact that they are made in the United States and that they offer quality products at such low costs. I always take a picture before using the products, but when I received the package I must have been eager to try these products because there is no picture of the unopened picture. I included some pictures off ofhttp://www.shop.raysofcolorado.com/Bath-and-Body_c3.htm so that you could see them before hand. Colorado Coconut Goat Milk and Honey Lotion was the lotion that I was sent to try and I absolutely fell in love with it. The first time I put it on I was surprised at the thickness of the lotion and smell of coconut and honey was perfect. The lotion wasn’t greasy but was smoothing and softening while lasting a long time which makes it a definite plus in my book. I love the fact that the two ounce bottle fits easily into my purse which makes it readily available. I even have used it after my shower/bath which leaves my skin even smoother. The Cherry lip balm is another of the products that I received of in my envelope. I love that it is made with shea butter and organic soybean oil and other natural oils. That means it is not only good for me, but good for the environment which is important to future generations. There wasn’t a lot of “extra” packaging which also is an environmental plus in my opinion. My 13 year old daughter who loves chap sticks and lip balms even gave it her seal of approval. I also received a Lavender Shaving soap which is the purple rounder bar. At first I was skeptical of a shaving bar but once I tried it I learned that I really did like it. The Lavender smell took me back to when I was a kid and that was what my Nana’s bathroom always smelled like and I have learned to cherish those memories. The Lavender Shaving soap turned out to be more than what I expected and I was delighted with the way it left my legs feeling. An Almond Oatmeal Shea Butter Soap also was included and it had to be my favorite. The smell of the almonds, oatmeal, and Shea butter worked well together and left a wonderful smell that lasted for hours. I also liked this soap to use as a part of a pedicure on my feet because of the way it felt on my skin. It was rough enough to take off some of the harder skin, but yet soft enough to use all over. I am definitely placing an order for more of this soap!!! The last thing that was included was a Rose Garden Goat Milk Soap. Rose smelling soaps aren’t my favorite but this one was one of my favorite Rose smelling soaps. It made my skin silky soft and the smell wasn’t overpowering which was a plus. This soap had just the right amount of ingredients and smells that made it a success. So if you are a Rose lover this is the soap for you. I have truly enjoyed using these products for the last couple of weeks and will order some of the items very soon. Here is a picture of the products after they have been used and as you can tell there is still lots of life left in the bars of soap. The bottle of lotion is over half gone, which you can’t tell because I put it on not long before the picture was taken and didn’t give it enough time to settle down to the bottom. http://raysofcolorado.com/ As a special offer to all of my readers Ray’s is offering 10% off any purchase using the code: RAYS10. Please make sure and tell them that I sent you! Thank you, Heidi Gray
Boston is a place that I have always wanted to see but we never seem to travel east we always go west! However planning is something that I tend to do before we take off to go anywhere, so why not learn all I can about Boston and maybe plan a trip out east for a change. One the very first page I learned that Boston is referred to as the “walking city”. I loved the part where the author introduced herself and how she explained why she was referring to herself as a tourist. I believe that being able to understand the author’s perspective is very important when reading an article, report, or book. The Freedom Trail would be on my number one to do list if I ever get to go to Boston, so I was elated when that was the author’s first suggestion. Deborah Bradley even listed the sightseeing attractions that you would see along the way which intrigued me even more. Another thing that I loved was that there were options of guided tours as well as tours at your own pace. There was even a tour for children which would be especially useful if a person was traveling with smaller children. My daughter is 13 so she would be easily entertained on a walking self guided tour or even a guided tour. Boston’s Fenway park would definitely be on our to do list because my husband and daughter both are avid baseball lovers. Included in this section was the history of Boston’s Fenway Park that I was not familiar with prior to reading this eBook. A tour of Fenway Park would also be very interesting but the author suggested going early in the day on game days, which is a great insider tip. Traveling help was even included and when traveling you definitely want the insider’s view of how they would travel to and from a specific event because the insider always knows best. The Boston Commons and The Boston Public Park both seem like interesting places to go and visit. The pictures made me want to go and visit the parks as a way to wind down after a day of sightseeing activities. My favorite part of this segment was when the author Deborah Bradley suggested that when traveling with younger kids to make a lasting impression was to take along a copy of the book: Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey. This allows children to make a connection of their life experiences and connect them to literature which is something that is very important for children. Having the information provided on the museums was a great life saver for me because it made my decision very easy as to which I would visit if we were to go. Our list includes the JFK Museum and The New England Aquarium. The other museums looked interesting but not for my family which means that this book did its job. I also loved the explanation of the T transportation system and the cheapest ways to do the things we were going to need. I would have probably had a panic attack the first time I didn’t know what to expect or where to find an explanation of what the T signs meant. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Boston Tourism Essentials: The Must-See Sights You’ll Love by Deborah Bradley. Now that I know some of the do’s and don’ts I could confidently take my laptop with the book, my review, and take a trip to Boston! I would suggest this eBook to anyone who is considering a trip to Boston because it was a valuable resource. I’m now trying to talk my husband into a trip to Boston, but I’m staying away in the winter time, so I guess I will have to wait until next Spring. Of course some of those were listed in the book as well, but I would have to say that if I ever get to go Rome I am taking the author Cath Andrew’s advice. One of my most stand out in my head moments in”Affordable Rome Sightseeing” when the author told women not to dress in shorts or sleeveless tops to visit the St Peter’s Basilica. As a tourist I would have never thought twice about sightseeing in shorts and a tank top, but would have been very disappointed had I not been allowed in. Affordable Rome Sightseeing was a very interesting book in which touring Rome was brought to the reader in a way that makes the reader want to travel to Rome. Included in the book were pictures that were very picturesque and scenes that were unforgettable. Getting an insider view of what to do or not what to do is definite plus in my opinion. Especially for those of us who have never traveled outside of the United States. I would definitely recommend Affordable Rome Sightseeing to all of my friends and family if you are planning a trip to Rome. Rome seems like a very tourist rich environment and with this books help you will know where to go that is off of the beaten path. As well as some of the more tourist friendly places you will want to visit while in Rome. Heidi Gray I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com.
